The Popular Autonomous University of the State of Puebla (UPAEP) applied to be Eligible before the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). The WSCUC reviewed the application and determined that the institution is Eligible to proceed with the Application for Accreditation. This determination of Eligibility is not a formal status before the WSCUC of WASC nor does it ensure eventual accreditation. It is a preliminary finding that the institution is potentially accreditable and that it can proceed, in the next five years that this Eligibility determination lasts, to the review for the Candidacy or the Initial Accreditation before the Commission.
