For the fifth time in six months, a high-level manager connected with the Russian energy company “Gazprom” has been found dead in the swimming pool of his mansion near St. Petersburg in Russia, the portal “The Sun” reports.
Multimillionaire Yuri Voronov (61) is the fifth millionaire to die recently under mysterious circumstances.
Voronov’s body, with a gunshot wound to the head, was found in the swimming pool of his mansion in an elite village near St. Petersburg.
A “Grand Power” semi-automatic pistol was found nearby, while “several spent cartridges” were found at the bottom of the pool.
Yuriy Voronov was the general director of the transport company Astra Shipping, which worked on Gazprom’s Arctic contracts.
The businessman’s wife said that he went to the Leningrad region of the Russian Federation on July 1. According to her, before leaving, her husband had a conflict with his business partners due to the loss of money.
