KFC Uerdingen celebrated their second win in their third friendly. The yellow cards for Kai Evers and Levan Kenya showed just how much pressure the team is under. But then the redeeming goal by Alexander Lipinski followed after nice preliminary work by Shun Terada. With his second goal, Lipinski calmed the Uerdinger game. After the change, an own goal made the decision.

3-0 – that’s a normal result for an ambitious club in a championship home game. The crux of the matter: the KFC and Blau-Gelb Überruhr separate two classes. Coach Alexander Voigt has been in the business long enough and knows what he has to say: “It was a good test. We played against aggressive opponents who showed us what to expect in the league. We didn’t concede a goal and won. That’s good for self-confidence.” But the coach also says: “We know that we still need a left-back, a central defender and a striker.”
