Seconds of Failed Police ambush to arrest child of Kiai DPO for sexual abuse

Jombang

The police raid on the convoy of carers for the Shiddiqiyyah Islamic Boarding School in Jombang failed to arrest Moch Subchi Azal Tsani (MSAT) alias Mas Bechi (42). Bechi is a DPO in a student molestation case. The group was ambushed by the police on their way back to the lodge from the groundbreaking ceremony for the Shiddiqiyyah educational institution.

“The groundbreaking ceremony for the Shiddiqiyyah educational institution. After that, the group went home,” said Jombang Police Chief AKBP Moh Nurhidayat to reporters, Wednesday (6/7/2022).

From the groundbreaking ceremony for the Shiddiqiyyah educational institution in Kuncung, Ngoro, Jombang, the group drove around 13 cars on Sunday (3/7) afternoon. The convoy of cars headed for Ponpes Majma’al Bachroin Hubbul Wathon Minal Iman Shiddiqiyyah in Losari Village, Ploso District.

“Polda contacted that they were following up from Kuncung Village. It is suspected that the MSAT DPO was in a series of Pak Yai Tar’s (Shiddiqiyyah Islamic boarding school) cars, approximately 13 cars,” explained Nurhidayat.

That’s when a team from the East Java Police asked for the assistance of personnel from the Jombang Police. Nurhidayat also mobilized his members to help ambush Bechi. According to him, the raid was originally carried out at Simpang 4 Sambongdukuh, Jombang District.

“Initially at Simpang 4 Sambong, there were several cars that had passed because the red light was cut off. Then they were chased,” he said.

The pursuit of the convoy of cars occurred until the Ploso Bridge, Jombang at around 13.00 WIB. According to Nurhidayat, a joint team from the East Java Police and the Jombang Police Satreskrim managed to stop 11 cars. One of the 11 cars that were stopped at that time had time to resist the police.

“When asked to stop, there was resistance from Panther’s car. Finally, members focused on it because the information was that DPO was riding in a Panther car. When members focused on the car driven by brother D, they fought back, then they were taken into custody,” he explained.

The other two cars managed to escape. Bechi is strongly suspected of being in one of the cars that escaped. Because the police did not find the DPO for sexual misconduct in the 11 cars that were stopped. Officers then allowed 10 cars to continue their journey. While 1 car was seized.

Unfortunately, the driver of the black Isuzu Panther car managed to escape. The police managed to secure the 3 passengers and an air gun which was found in the car. The two men and one woman who were in the car were sent home the next day because they were deemed not to have played an active role in fighting the police. The East Java Police are still hunting for D.

Police again failed to bring Bechi, on the next page!
