Strange name, strange program. The duo Wiebke Eymess and Friedolin Müller fully lives up to expectations. In recent years, “The money is on the windowsill, Marie” has gained a special status in the cabaret scene with its very own artistic mix. Special discipline: There is singing, dancing, making music and sometimes using the smartphone as a symphonic instrument. This is underlined and overstretched with unbelievable language acrobatics.
After “MitterrnachtSpaghetti” and “PARADIESSEITS”, Eymess/Müller are entering the third (program) round of their unique song and word duel with “Gleich bangt ́s”. The dramaturgical framework of the program is the time shortly before the end of the world. While civilization whistles its doomsday melody from the last hole, the two of them tinker from the window sill on a final firework display that consists only of fuses. What follows is one banger after another. Whereby the volume does not always set the punch line. Eymess/Müller have been awarded numerous prestigious prizes, such as the executioner’s axe, the Munich cactus and the Stuttgart broom.
