Sotheby’s auction house in New York will exhibit the complete fossil collection of Gorgosaurus later this month.
The skeleton of a dinosaur that lived about 77 million years ago will be auctioned on July 28.
The fossil was discovered in 2018 in Montana and is nearly 3 meters high and 6.7 meters long.
Sotheby’s says that this is one of the most valuable fossils ever to appear on the market.
Initial estimates of these fossils will sell for between Rp. 75 billion and Rp. 120 billion.
Besides Gorgosaurus, the Triceratops skull will also be auctioned on the same day.
