‘Bebito fiu fiu’ has shaken the internet and social networks. Users record themselves dancing and singing the catchy tune. From the urban genre singer, Bad Bunny, to various content generators for social networks, they have gone viral singing ‘Bebito Fiu Fiu’.
But, who is behind this success and other songs-parodies? That someone is 30 years old, a musician by profession, an advertising jingle player by vocation, a humorist by spirit, and his name is Tito Silva. Like many of you, I searched for him in cyberspace after receiving one of his unmissable installments via chat that went viral and made us laugh and think.
Art, as he calls it between smiles, which ridicules with implacable satire, but ingenious and elegant, those protagonists of the local or conjuncture news whose statements or actions dislocate by themselves and make them worthy of Tito Silva’s brilliant intervention to , once wrapped in poetic justice, make them eternal: a balm of good humor, an outlet for the absurd, a sedative for the frustration of living in a country as complex as Peru.
In his bunker in Pueblo Libre, located on the penultimate floor of a tall building from where he can see a good part of the city, this gentleman works his healing spell. Tito Silva Music, inspired by Les Luthiers, according to his own confession, takes advantage of the abundant raw material that our rich country offers. With just a program on his Mac, a keyboard, a cell phone that records it and his undeniable talent for thoughtful sarcasm, good music and composition, he spends entire afternoons making sure everything fits and reaches us. Total thanks, Tito Silva Music.
