Impressive images obtained by Noticias Univision 41 show the moment in which three women completely destroy a Bel-Fries business located on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, while throwing all kinds of objects at its employees, including glass bottles.

It happened around 4 am this Sunday at 132 Ludlow Street.

One of the workers even ended up in a hospital with head injuries, blood and high blood pressure.

We contacted these employees and they explained that it all happened for $1.75.

“They wanted extra sauce for the potatoes and, when we explained that these cost $1.75, they got upset and that’s where it all started,” said Rafael Nunez, the chef at the place, who recorded everything with his cell phone.

“We explained to them that this is a business rule, and that it is the same for everyone, but they did not understand,” he added.

The women, who according to the employees seemed drunk, began to break everything and throw whatever object they saw in their path.

“They destroyed the place’s computers, the cash register, the sauce pumps, and they took cash,” Rafael tells us.

Victoria Baez, another employee who was present, tells in a broken voice that the assailants threw tequila and hot sauce in her face, and that is why she could not see well.

“I’ve never had anything like this happen to me in 22 years in this country and 15 working in customer service,” Victoria told us. “I have a son and many times I take him to work. That day I didn’t wear it. But the thought that he could have been there terrifies me,” she adds.

“I even turned on the alarm to scare them, because sometimes that works, but not with them. They didn’t go. And the saddest thing is that everyone saw it as a joke and laughed. No one stopped them.”

“I wanted to defend myself, but I couldn’t find a way, because they are women. It only occurred to me to take out the phone as a defense, in case something happened to me, so that it would be recorded, ”says Rafael.

“I thought about using a knife, or pouring hot oil on them, but none of that seemed appropriate. Then I felt a lot of impotence, anger. No fear. Impotence because I wanted to get even, but I didn’t know how, ”she adds.

Noticias Univision 41 contacted the New York Police Department and they confirmed the arrests of the three women: Pearl Ozaria, 27, Chitara Plasencia, 25, and Tatiyanna Johnson, 23.
