Barcelona coach Xavi has reportedly informed six of his players that they are no longer in his plans at Camp Nou.
Legendary midfielder Blaugrana who is now in charge of his former club, wants to build a new era in Catalunya after returning to a disappointing season.
To achieve this, Riqui Puig, Neto, Oscar Mingueza, Clement Lenglet, Samuel Umtiti and Moussa Wague have been informed that they will be released.

According to sportXavi wants to start from scratch at Barca with pre-season scheduled to start on Monday (4/7), but the futures of some players remain uncertain.
He reportedly still wants to bring in at least five new players for the 2022/23 season, but also wants to get rid of unwanted stars as soon as possible.
The six players were given an extra week at the start of pre-season to determine their futures, and they will have to move to new clubs if they are to earn regular playing time this season.

Lenglet has indeed been linked with Premier League side Tottenham, but other players may find it difficult to find a way out, with the likes of Neto and Umtiti having been linked with a move away from Catalunya in recent years.
If Umtiti does end up leaving, it’s likely he will just be loaned out to another club in Spain. Meanwhile Wague has just recovered from a serious injury that forced him out of action for a year, so maybe not many clubs would dare to take the risk of signing the Senegalese right-back.
Umtiti joined Barcelona in 2016 from Lyon, while Wague joined in 2018.
