It is not uncommon for companies to develop “Lite versions” of popular apps, ie versions with fewer functions but also lower system requirements that make them work even on devices with lower performance. Microsoft is now said to be working on what is called Outlook Lite for Android, and leaks have come with the information that the new e-mail client will contain basically all functions from the standard Outlook app with one exception. Outlook Lite should have been made easier and faster because the app only supports a single e-mail account, which means that all functions and programming for multiple accounts have been removed. It should also be a slightly different interface.
Outlook Lite is said to be released as early as July.
