Asunción: In order to get to the center of Asunción or back out more quickly, the Costanera in the north were always an option. Now that the construction of the southern coastal road is progressing well, it is also evident how Lambaré and Villa Elisa can benefit from it.
Here is a current view of the more than 7 km long Costanera Sur. The beginning of the renovation of the future residential complex on a non-floodable level is already visible. In total, the coastal road will be 19 km long, connecting Lambaré with the botanical garden. This also means a relief for the existing roads that lead to Asuncion. The public housing and houses that are being built in Bañado Sur also help development without mandatory relocation, as advocated by the San Francisco project.
