Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Council (BMKG) provide early warning. Several regions in Indonesia will be hit by rain It’s crowded today.
Reporting from Antara, the BMKG website conveys the potential for heavy rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds to occur in the provinces of Aceh, Jambi, Lampung, South Sumatra (Sumsel), Banten, DKI Jakarta, West Java, East Java, and Bali.
In addition to these areas, heavy rain conditions are also expected to occur in the provinces of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Central Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, West Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, Gorontalo, Maluku, North Maluku, Papua and West Papua.
The BMKG said the convergence area was observed to extend in the Indian Ocean west of Lampung-Bengkulu, from the Java Sea to the waters east of Lampung. From the waters of the Sangihe Islands to the Sulawesi Sea, from the Banda Sea to the east coast of Southeast Sulawesi.
The convergence area was also observed extending from the Arafuru Sea to the Kai Islands waters, from Papua to Cendrawasih Bay, and from the southern waters of Biak to the northern waters of Raja Ampat.
These conditions can increase the potential for rain cloud growth along the conference area.
