Ubisoft to take servers for 15 older games offline

Many of the games on Ubisoft’s list are more than ten years old, but there’s also a more recent title among them: the VR game Space Junkies. That game can only be played in multiplayer and will therefore no longer be available and playable at all. The other games can still be played in single player, but all online components will be discontinued.

This means that all multiplayer modes of the games will no longer be playable, but also that players will no longer be able to purchase DLC. In the case of Ghost Recon Future Soldiers, players can only play the offline campaign, and no longer obtain additional content (such as cosmetics) by linking their Ubisoft account to the game.

The full list of games is below. Far Cry 3 and Assassin’s Creed 3 only concern the original versions of the games (from 2012), the remastered editions will still work online.
