“After there are data that the diplomats have carried out activities against the state, the rulers receive our support categorically. There were reports of the National Security Agency, what was written inside – we did not understand, but we trust the services. All those who carry out activities against the state, it is right to be expelled”, commented GERB-SDS MP Delyan Dobrev in “Supportive People”.
He added that the manner in which they were evicted was ridiculous and raised questions about how serious the cabinet’s actions were. According to him, if Russia has decided to close the embassy, we cannot stop it, we must not succumb to blackmail. The deputy pointed out that Kiril Petkov tried to stand out in front of the public and say “I’m chasing them” in order to raise his own rating.
“All their actions in the last 6 months are aimed at boosting ratings, but all their decisions are wrong, except for the diplomats, because if it is recommended by the services, it is the right decision. In the situation that you are prosecuting such a large number of diplomats , it is a good idea to gather not only the rulers in a coalition council, but also to notify the opposition, so that we as a country can come out with a unified position,” Dobrev told Bulgaria ON AIR.
