Honda Freed was successful in its time. Unfortunately, the age of the Honda Freed in Indonesia did not last long. First visited Indonesia in 2009, in 2017 Honda no longer sells Freed in the country.
Even though in Japan there is a new Freed model, Honda is reluctant to bring it to the Indonesian market. The dwindling fans were the main reason Honda refused to bring Freed here. For Honda at that time, a box-shaped car like the Freed was no longer attractive in the eyes of the public.
Even so, Freed’s charm has not faded. In one site for buying and selling used cars, the price of the Honda Freed is still high. A used Honda Freed is seen for sale starting at IDR 120 million for 2010s alerts. The younger the year, the higher the price. Even for 2015 Honda Freed alerts, there is a price that touches Rp. 182 million.
It is not known with certainty what makes the price of a used Honda Freed still high. PT Honda Prospect Motor also called this used Freed price phenomenon unique.
