The government through PT PLN officially raised electricity rates as of Friday (1/7/2022).
The increase in PLN electricity rates is applied to households, businesses, industry, government, and special services.
However, this increase in PLN electricity does not apply to subsidized customers.

“Household customers under 3,500 VA, business and industrial tariffs are fixed,” said Director General of Electricity, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Rida Mulyana, quoted from setkab.go.id.
The following is the update on PLN electricity rates as of July 1, 2022:
Household
– Group R-1/TR power 900 VA, Rp 1,352 per kWh.
– Group R-1/ TR 1,300 VA power, Rp 1,444.70 per kWh.
– Group R-1/ TR 2,200 VA power, Rp 1,444.70 per kWh.
