MADRIDCovid-19 did not come out of a natural reservoir but “leaved out of the United States biotechnology laboratory (biolab)” in an accident.

The provocative remarks were made by world-renowned economist and writer Jeffrey Sachs while speaking at a conference organized by the GATE Center think tank in Spain in mid-June.

In making these “provocative statements”, Sachs said he was in the loop, as he chaired the Covid-19 commission in the prestigious medical journal The Lancet.

“So it was a mistake, in my view, biotech, not a natural spillover accident,” he repeated the shocking statement, quoted by RT.com on Friday (1/7/2022).

The academic noted, “While we don’t know for sure if this is the case, there is sufficient evidence to suggest this, which should be investigated.

Sachs laments that this version, however, “is not under investigation, not in the United States, not elsewhere.”

Back in May, Sachs, along with Columbia University professor of pharmacology and molecular therapy Neil Harrison, wrote an article in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, suggesting that Covid-19 originated in a laboratory.
