Famous TV presenter who suffered from colon cancer dies | Entertainment

BBC presenter Deborah James, 40, has died of colon cancer, her family said. “We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Dame Deborah James; the most amazing wife, daughter, sister, mom.”

Through social networks, the journalist Deborah James shared with her followers how she was dealing with her illness and helped raise resources in multiple charity campaigns.

“Deborah shared her experience with the world to raise awareness, break down barriers, challenge taboos and change the conversation about cancer. Even in her most challenging times, her determination to raise money and awareness was inspiring,” her loved ones added.

James was diagnosed in 2016 and shared the news with the world through the ‘You, Me and The Big C’ podcast. She wrote for The Sun newspaper and later became a BBC broadcaster.

One of her last photos was together with Prince William.

“It was such a special day for my whole family, creating memories for a lifetime. You are welcome at any time! ”, She wrote on that occasion.
