The platform has just formalized Snapchat +, a paid premium offer that allows members to access exclusive features.

Are you really ready to put your hand to the wallet to benefit from new features in Snapchat? The social network, which is visibly seeking to diversify its sources of income, has just unveiled the imminent deployment of its paid subscription Snapchat +.
Billed around 4 euros per month, this offer gives access to exclusive features. The platform also indicates that it will be possible to take advantage of new experimental functions before these are deployed on a larger scale to the approximately 332 million users of the platform.
For the time being, the social network remains quite elusive as to the other benefits provided by this paid subscription. Snapchat+ is rolling out and will be available in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, as well as France. Snapchat, however, indicates that other countries should also benefit from it very soon.
Snapchat isn’t the first platform to introduce a paid subscription in an effort to create a new, sustainable revenue stream. The arrival of Snapchat + indeed comes a few days after Telegram unveiled its Telegram Premium offer.
