The hospitalization of Travis Barker is said to be the result of an inflammation of his pancreas. Sources of People in TMZ report that this would have been found on an endoscopic examination of the drummer’s colon.
Footage emerged on Wednesday showing Barker being transported by ambulance to a Los Angeles hospital. The blink-182 drummer didn’t explain the hospitalization, but did ask God on Twitter to save him.
A source tells People that Barker would have been experiencing cramps and that he was very concerned. His wife Kourtney Kardashian is also said to have been scared.
The inflammation causes severe abdominal cramps, nausea and vomiting. A spokesperson wanted to TMZ cannot confirm that Barker was admitted with pancreatitis. It is unknown how Barker is doing now.
