This Wednesday, June 29, the Cuauhtemoc Municipal DIF carried out the delivery of 91 results to women who participate in its campaign to detect the breast and cervical cancerwhich took place from May 18 to 23.
The president of the Municipal DIF of Cuauhtémoc, Nadia Mejia Martinezmentioned that the delivery of these results is part of the actions to guarantee the health protection of the most vulnerable population in the municipality.
“These actions are carried out in response to the indications of the mayor Gabriela MejiaNadia said.
The president of the DIF also recognized the interest of women in taking care of their health, and indicated that studies of Pap they are an essential tool to detect cells in time that can cause some type of cancer.
Likewise, Nadia Mejía assured that they will continue to take steps to bring these services to the population that needs them, since it is the best technique to detect these ailments in a timely manner and in the event of a diagnosis positive, get treatment early.
