Miranda Goeltom Becomes Deputy President Commissioner of Bank Mayapada

The General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) of PT Bank Mayapada Internasional Tbk (MAYA) approved a management reshuffle. One of the names included in the ranks is Miranda S. Goeltom.

In an official company statement, Thursday (29/6/2022), the General Meeting of Shareholders of Bank Mayapada Internasional approved the appointment of Miranda S. Goeltom as Deputy President Commissioner.

Miranda herself is a former Senior Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia. He was also appointed as the Daily Acting Governor of Bank Indonesia when Boediono ran for vice president with Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

Apart from Miranda, Bank Mayapada GMS also dismissed Jusak Pranoto as Director of the Company. Dismissal and appointment of effective period since the closing of the GMS.

The new composition of the Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors of Bank Mayapada International is as follows:

In addition to changing the board of directors and commissioners, the GMS also approved the determination of the use of net profit for the 2020 financial year ending December 31, 2021, amounting to Rp 44,127,000,000 or Rp 44.1 billion for:

1. In order to comply with the provisions of Article 39 of the Company’s Articles of Association in conjunction with Article 70 of Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies (PT) to reserve a net profit every year, until the reserve reaches 20% of the total Paid-in Capital. We hereby reserve 2.27% of net profit in 2021, which is Rp. 1,000,000,000.

2. While the remaining Rp. 43,127,000,000 will be recorded as retained earnings to strengthen the Company’s capital structure.
