Putin would not have invaded Ukraine if he were a woman

Boris Johnson assured that Vladimir Putin would not have invaded Ukraine if he were a woman and believes that the war is a “perfect example of toxic masculinity“.

In an interview with German media following the G7 summit at Schloss Elmau castle, Britain’s prime minister cited the Russian president’s gender as a contributing factor to the conflict.

Johnson told ZDF broadcaster: “If Putin were a woman, which he obviously isn’t, if he were, I really don’t think he would have undertaken a crazy and macho war of invasion and violence in the way that it has“.

“If you want a perfect example of toxic masculinity, then that’s what he’s doing in the Ukraine.”
The comments come after Western leaders wrapped up the three-day G7 summit.held in southern Germany, promising to increase the economic and political costs that Russia’s war against Ukraine imposes on Putin and his regime.

Johnson has since traveled to Madrid to attend a NATO summit with Foreign Secretary Liz Truss.
