848 corona patients were hospitalized on Tuesday – 42 percent more than in the previous week. Nevertheless, the authorities are reluctant to take new measures. Only industry associations are tightening the recommendations for wearing masks.

Last week, the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) received 33,108 new infections with the corona virus. For comparison: last week there were still 24,704. In the weeks before, the numbers had steadily increased. And the high positivity rate indicates a high number of unreported cases. On request, the BAG is unable to quantify how high it is.
