Parts of the southern districts of Sofia and villages in the municipality are without electricity after the storm that broke out in the evening. The website of the company “Electricity Distribution Networks West” shows that at 7.40 pm the power supply to Vitosha Park, the neighborhoods “Simeonovo”, “Malinova Dolina”, “Mladost 4” and “Mladost 1”, “Boyana”, the carriage in ” Students’ town”. They are also in the dark in the villages of German and Kokalyane.
The power supply is expected to be restored at 9.45 pm, according to the map of the accidents.
The company told 24 Chasa that the power outage was caused by a thunderstorm. They turned off three outlets feeding the southern regions. Distribution company’s emergency teams are working to restore power as soon as possible.
