We don’t know what fly bites NFL retirees, but after Frank Gore and several others, it’s the turn of two other former running backs to put on the boxing gloves.
On one side, the indefatigable Adrian Peterson at the height of his 37 years and, on the other, the veteran Le’Veon Bell at 30 years old.
Officially, the two players have not submitted their retirement papers to the NFL. Both played in 2021 in the NFL. Peterson for the Titans and Seahawks and Bell for the Bucs and Ravens. Even not too long ago, Bell was considered one of the best rushers in the NFL before waltzing from team to team.

It was ESPN who reported the whole thing a few days agoPeterson and Bell will square off at heavyweight on July 30 in Los Angeles at Crypto.com Arena.
In fact, the fight will be an exhibition, so we are not talking about professional debuts for the two NFL players. He will be on the card for the Social Gloves 2 party, an event organized by YouTuber Austin McBroom.
On the same card, former NBA Nick Young will also have a fight against musician Blueface.
Like what the Paul brothers are not the only personalities of the web to promote fights between the cables. As for boxing experience, Bell says he trains in boxing for the cardio.
As for Adrian Peterson, maybe he’s better at punching with sticks judging by his background. But with his fists, he might manage too.
A story to follow… while waiting for the return of football.
