On June 19, 2022, the Lodge Camp welcomed one of the former stars of the PSG : Francois M’Pele.
The one who will celebrate his 75th birthday on July 13 has returned to the Saint-Germain grounds of the Georges Lefèvre stadium.
Forward for 6 seasons
Accompanied by part of his family, he also had the right to a visit from the Lodge Camp.
As the PSG website recalls, François M’Pelé was a striker at the club for 6 seasons, from December 1973 to July 1979.
“Seventh goalscorer in club history”
The player, born in Brazzaville (Congo), will have played nearly 217 official matches, scored no less than 95 goals, making him the “seventh scorer in the history of the club”.
During his career, François M’Pelé will also have been responsible for 23 assists (histoiredupsg.fr).
