The 4th of July celebration is just around the corner and New York Governor Kathy Hochul announced that preparations are underway for fireworks at Jones Beach State Park.
The traditional Independence Day celebration will take place in this park with a 25-minute fireworks display. Jovia Financial Credit Union at Jones Beach that will feature a variety of colors and views that will light up the sky at Long Island’s popular waterfront park.
“Now is a great time for New Yorkers to start planning for all the outdoor adventures available to them in our beautiful state this summer, starting with fireworks at Jones Beach State Park on July 4,” Governor Hochul said. . “The Independence Day fireworks at Jones Beach is one of New York’s great summer traditions, and I encourage New Yorkers and tourists alike to join us in seeing all that our state parks have to offer.”
The colorful display, put on by Garden State Fireworks, will take place on Monday, July 4 beginning at 9:30 pm This year, WALK 97.5 FM and KJOY-98.3 FM will simultaneously broadcast music during the fireworks display. Fireworks are included in the regular price of park admission, which is $10 per vehicle.
