The company announced this via Twitter. “We’ll see you at Gamescom! From August 24 to 28, more news to follow…” More details are not known, so also not what the publisher will show during Gamescom.
Earlier this year, Ubisoft indicated that it would broadcast a new Ubisoft Forward sometime later this year, but when that will happen is not yet known. There will go rumors that Ubisoft will re-reveal Skull and Bones sometime in July. Also the company has confirmed that it will reveal “the future of Assassin’s Creed” sometime in September.
Gamescom will be held in Cologne, Germany from August 24 to 28. The Gamescom Opening Night Live, presented by Geoff Keighley, will be held on August 23. In any case, PlayStation, Nintendo, Take-Two and Activision Blizzard are not participating. However, more than 250 other companies are present, including THQ Nordic, Koch Media and Bandai Namco.
