American inside player Devin Davis has signed a one-year deal with Peristeri, the team announced Monday. After completing his NCAA career in Houston, he turned pro with the Lakeland Magic in the G League during the 2018-19 season. From there he moved on to Lavrio and will return to Greece for a third campaign in the Stoiximan Basket League. In 2021-22, playing in France as a member of ESSM Le Portel, he averaged 12.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.5 blocks per game in Betclic Elite LNB Pro A.
Davis, 27, followed Shakur Juiston as signings to one of the most exciting teams in the upcoming Basketball Champions League, which will be coached by Vassilis Spanoulis himself. Croatian Miro Bilan was previously the first official signing of the summer, while Greek Leonidas Kaselakis agreed to a two-year deal soon after.
