The Polish Hubert Hurkacz, who has just entered the Top 10, began his challenge in favor of Ukraine this Monday, June 27 at the Wimbledon tournament.

With each successful ace during the fortnight of the tournament in London, Hubert Hurkacz (25) has promised to contribute to theUkraine. “I would like to announce that starting tomorrow (Monday), I am pledging to donate 100 euros for every ace I hit at Wimbledon to help the people of Ukraine.”he wrote on Twitter. “I hope my serve goes well!”added the No. 7 seed to Wimbledon on the comments relayed by The Parisian.
The third player to score the most aces
Semi-finalist in 2021 after bringing down Roger Federer, Hubert Hurkacz launched this challenge which begins this Monday, June 27 against the Spaniard Fokina. Since the start of the season, the Pole has made 452 aces. Preceded by the Americans John Isner and Reilly Opelka, he is currently in third place in the ranking of players to have hit the most aces.
Awards
The prize list of Hubert Hurkacz has five titles, including the Moselle Open in Metz last year. In 2021, the Pole has already released the Russian Daniil Medvedev in the round of 16, then Roger Federer in the quarters.
