Motorola is still working on steam on its next-generation foldable smartphone, which will likely be named the RAZR 3 at baptism, though we can’t be absolutely sure yet. The device is said to be coming out in the near future, and it has already been confirmed from the manufacturer that we will get a real flagship mobile phone with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The news is constantly leaking about the phone, the latest one is scrutinizing the capacity of the battery, and we can’t really expect serious progress in this area.
According to the news so far, there will be significant improvements not only inside the device, but also in the cameras, but according to recent rumors of Chinese origin, the RAZR 3 will not really be better than its predecessors in many ways, one of which is the battery capacity. Supposedly inside a smartphone with a foldable display 2800 mAh battery it will perform its power supply task, which is the same size as the 2020 RAZR 5G. Not something big.
For the sake of comparison, we note that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is reported to be equipped with a 3700 mAh battery. But anyway, the Galaxy Flip 3, which has already been released and is still available, has a larger 3300 mAh battery inside, and even with that, Samsung’s mobile phone doesn’t always last a full day.
In other words, anyone who votes for the Motorola RAZR 3 can expect to have to plug in the device many times, hopefully at least charging will be lightning fast.
Aside from the battery capacity, the latest updates confirm the specifications of the foldable smartphone that came to light earlier. Expect a 6.7-inch, 120 Hz, Full HD + OLED display, a 32-megapixel center-cut-out front camera, a 50-megapixel primary capture unit with a 1 / 1.5-inch size, and a possibly ultra-wide-angle 13-megapixel plus sensor. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset that drives the smartphone is said to come with 12GB of RAM.
