The Russian army has taken massive action missile attack on Ukrainian cities in the early hours of the day.
From the territory of Belarus the Russian military has fired 24 missiles in Zhytomyr and its suburbs. As a result of the strikes, one serviceman was killed and another was wounded.
24 rockets were fired at Zhytomyr region with planes that came from the territory of Belarus. This was announced by the mayor of Zhytomyr Sergey Sukhomlin on his Facebook page. Sukhomlin did not reveal any details other than that the Russians’ targets were military targets.
The head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Association, Vitaly Bunechko, confirmed the shelling, as well as the death of one soldier and another wounded.
By Dnepropetrovsk region there is also rocket fire. In the Ukrainian news site 24tv, there are reports of explosions from the city of Zaporozhye in the southeastern part of the country, as well as from the central Ukrainian city of Dnipro.
Russian troops have also fired six missiles at a military site in the area of Yavorov in the Lviv region. This was announced in the Telegram by the head of the regional military administration in Lviv Maxim Kozitsky.
Two of the six missiles, launched from the Black Seawere shot down by the air defense forces.
The shelling was at a military site on the territory of Yavorov district.
Kozicki reported that four people were injured, so far there is no information about those killed. As a result of the missile strike, one received moderate injuries and three – minor.
There were rocket attacks around 5 o’clock in the morning in the village Right, Chernihiv region. The attackers fired a total of 20 missiles from Belarus. According to the operational command, the missiles were fired both from planes and from the ground. The infrastructure of the village is completely destroyed.
