Juventus of Turin would not have renewed their exclusive contract with Konami and will return under their real name in FIFA 23.

Piemonte Calcio, it’s over – at least, if we are to believe the information from B/R Football, the Twitter dedicated to the small world of soccer from the North American site Bleacher Report. After several years spent under the PES forgiveness franchise, eFootball, now Juventus of Turin is about to make a comeback in the next FIFA.

Juve had signed an exclusive contract with Konami in 2019, granting them the rights to use their name and, in a broader sense, their image. Consequently, from its vintage FIFA 20, Electronic Arts had to give the team a completely different name.

Juve would find their jersey for FIFA 23

Thus, for several years, Giorgio Chiellini’s team met under the name of Piemonte Carlo. But it seems that FIFA 23 will see the return of Juventus under their real name, with their stadium, their striped jersey and their crest.. Three other Serie A teams remain exclusive to eFootball, namely AS Roma, Lazio and Atalanta.

Also in the news for the number one football simulation, Electronic Arts recently confirmed that FIFA 23 will be the last game in the franchise to bear the name of the eponymous organization. The long-standing partnership that linked Gianni Infantino’s calvoche to Andrew Wilson’s psychopathic gaze will not be renewed at the end of the summer of 2023. From now on, the American publisher’s football games will be soberly named EA Sports FC, while FIFA has already announced that it has several projects in preparation with other players in the industry. It’s never easy, a breakup.
