Two cutting-edge cinema films will be screened in July at the outdoor pool in Selm. With the support of the city of Selm, the Westenergie company is once again organizing an outdoor cinema event. While last year it was a drive-in cinema due to the Corona situation, this year the cinema will take place in the Selm outdoor pool. On Friday, July 22nd and Saturday, July 23rd, it’s time to film in the outdoor pool.
The Friday film is a real Hollywood hit, according to the city’s announcement. Tom Cruise is currently wowing moviegoers in the sequel to the action film Top Gun. This sequel will be shown on Friday evening at the outdoor pool on a screen several meters in size. Spectacular aerial shots and action scenes await cinema-goers.
On Saturday, a French comedy will be shown to match the Germany-wide cinema release that took place just two days earlier. In “Monsieur Claude and his big party” leading actor Christian Clavier, who is known from the Asterix films, shows his comedic talent in the role of Monsieur Claude for the third time.
Tickets are available in the municipal office, community center and village shop
Admission to the events is at 8 p.m. after the official bathing hours. The film starts at around 9:30 p.m. Visitors can make themselves comfortable on the provided seating and chilling opportunities, writes the city. Food and drinks will be provided. The advance sale has started. Tickets – adults 8 euros, children and young people under the age of 18 6 euros – can be purchased at the presale points Bork Bork, Selm community center, village shop Cappenberg and at the cash desk of the outdoor pool. The proceeds from the event benefit the Selm outdoor pool.
