Fémin’Initiatives celebrated its 20th anniversary under the Dome of the Eure-et-Loir Chamber of Commerce and Industry

In the presence of Naaïma Mejani, sub-prefect of the arrondissement of Nogent-le-Rotrou, Chantal Lefrançois, vice-president of the Eure-et-Loir Chamber of Commerce and Industry in charge of services, and aurore Dumortier, elected to the CMA of Eure-et-Loir, took place the twentieth edition of the awards ceremony for the Fémin’Initiatives competition.

A special price for this anniversary

“In 2021, 4,386 companies were created or taken over in Eure-et-Loir. Just over a third of these creations or covers were made by women. Women have therefore been under-represented among business creators in recent years,” emphasizes Chantal Lefrançois.

For her part, Naaïma Mejani recalls: “The government has decided to implement a development plan for female entrepreneurship, the challenges of which require synergy and the involvement of all the players in the territory. The objectives of this plan are to encourage vocations, support women’s projects and facilitate their access to financing in order to reach 40% of women entrepreneurs. »

The CCI and the CMA join forces with the prefecture of Eure-et-Loir to develop female entrepreneurship and highlight it. “The Fémin’Initiatives action, carried out by the CCI28 and the CMA28, articulated around several axes, aims to promote female entrepreneurship by encouraging vocations, by mobilizing the economic actors of the entrepreneurial system of the department, by contributing to the promotion of different courses, by raising awareness among a large female audience and by fighting against stereotypes,” added Chantal Lefrançois in front of a hundred guests and local elected officials.

In addition to the five usual categories of the departmental competition, Fémin’Initiatives has added a special prize for the twenty years of the competition. He returned to Nelly Pitt, founder of the cosmetic robot BeautyMix, which has experienced exceptional development since its launch three years ago. The Chartraine start-up is, in fact, setting out to conquer Europe.
