ARIZONA- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) authorized the vaccine for children under five years of age. In Arizona, some counties have already announced what immunization will be like for children.
The Pima County Health Department confirmed that it will be starting this Tuesday when children under six months to five years can be vaccinated.
Vaccines will be available at county vaccination clinics. Below is a list of the places where the vaccine will be applied.
PIMA COUNTY
Moderna and Pfizer, both authorized by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), will be the doses that begin to be distributed in Pima County, it should be noted that each varies in dose and application times.
MARICOPA COUNTY
The vaccination against COVID-19, including booster doses, is available free of charge at the events listed on the calendar below to anyone who qualifies for the vaccine, regardless of insurance or citizenship status. Click here to see the calendar.

The Arizona Department of Health Services has made a vaccine finder available to the community at azhealth.gov/FindVaccine so parents can find providers who can vaccinate children ages 6 months and older.
