As expected, Telegram has just launched its Premium version. In exchange for a monthly subscription, the advantages are numerous.

Announced recently, the Telegram instant messaging subscription system is here. Soberly called Telegram Premium, it offers, for 5.49 euros per month, to add or improve some of the features of the app. The objective, beyond monetization, is to support development and maintain the free version, which also benefits from some improvements. For the record, Snapchat and TikTok made the same choice.
700 million monthly active users for Telegram
The list of advantages is quite long, but it remains to be seen if this will encourage the 700 million monthly active users that Telegram announces to have to checkout.
For those who are not interested, note that the free update (being deployed) that accompanies this Premium formula takes the opportunity to fix many bugs and optimize the different versions of the app. The latest iPhones and iPads notably benefit from animation at 120 frames per second and external sharing is improved on iOS. On Android, better audio and video quality are available for voice and video messages, with an improved preview of exchanges and automatic saving of media in the gallery. In addition, make their entrance for all requests for membership in public groups, verification badges in exchanges or even better bots.

But back to Snapchat Premium. First of all, the sending of files goes from 2 to 4 GB maximum with the subscription. Non-Premium users will also be able to download these larger files. Download speed is also faster for subscribers, while many current limits are upgraded: 500 to 1000 max channels, 5 to 10 pinned exchanges, up to 10 favorite stickers, 200 to 400 favorite GIFs or still up to 20 trade folders each with up to 200 trades.
It is also possible to add a fourth account to the Telegram applications, or to write a longer bio and include a link in it. Premium users can additionally reserve up to 20 public t.me links and use unique stickers and reactions. Subscribers will also be able to set a profile video, display special badges, not see ads in countries where there are, or even better manage their chats with additional options.
