Brigitte Bourguignon, who had just been appointed Minister of Health, was beaten by her rival from the National Rally, in the 6th constituency of Pas-de-Calais, during the legislative elections. She will therefore have to leave the government.
The Minister of Health, Brigitte Bourguignon, was beaten by her rival RN Christine Engrand in the sixth district of Pas-de-Calais, her entourage said. The minister, who will have to leave the government according to a tacit rule reaffirmed by the Elysée, was distanced by 56 votes by Christine Engrand, 67, commercial director of a training organization, said those around her.
