The bride who went viral because her wedding decoration collapsed was Muhammad Luqman Hakim Zaihan and Norfatin Asilah Zahid. The couple is from Malaysia.

When contacted by Mstar, the man who is familiarly called Luqman said he did not mind any party. He even considers the aisle collapse incident as a unique memory in his wedding ceremony.

“It was the marriage ceremony. Suddenly someone screamed. I asked, why are people screaming? Apparently some of the aisle panels fell. Behind it was a fan, maybe the wind caused the panels to fall. Luqman said even though his focus was divided, he still practiced two or three times. “Alhamdulillah, with one word, I became a husband. At that time the family immediately joined in repairing the aisle. Then the bridal party also came. They came quickly,” he explained.

The 27-year-old man was amused by netizens’ comments about his viral marriage. Netizens who commented on their TikTok uploads experienced the same thing at a wedding.

Two weeks after the wedding, the Luqman family will hold another event in the Johor Baru area, Malaysia. He hopes that a similar incident will not happen again.

“If it happens again twice, it will go viral. I uploaded it on TikTok for memory only. My mother also said that the incident was unique and could be told to other people,” he said.

Luqman and his wife first met when they were both studying at the University of Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) at the Pasir Gudang campus, about seven years ago.
