The police in Trøndelag write on Twitter that they have been notified of a car hanging from a tree in Trondheim.
Melder is the driver. Unclear sequence of events. No more vehicles involved. The emergency services are on their way, the police write.
Operations Manager Roger Kogstad tells Dagbladet that the car ended up outside the crash barrier.
– It is a car that has driven through a guardrail and partly hangs in a tree. It is quite steep there, says Kogstad.
The police were notified of the incident at 14.00.
Police officer Steinar Hammer, who is at the scene, says that it is a Tesla.
He says that a woman and a child were slightly injured, and were taken to the emergency room.
Hammer says that the airbags on the car have been deployed and that the front is pinched.
– But after all, this has gone very well, says Hammer.
Hammer says that the fire brigade attached the car to the crash barrier to secure both those who were in the car and the emergency services who worked on site.
– The car is still hanging in the tree and it will take some time to salvage it down from there, the police write on Twitter.
