The world of Indonesian music is in mourning. One of the legendary guitarist Donny Suhendra died.
It is known from the post Gilang Ramadhan. The drummer said Donny Suhendra died today at the age of 62.
“Goodbye, pal. See you later!” Gilan wrote.
Gilang Ramadhan and Donny Suhendra were in the same group when they formed the band ADEGAN. It happened in 1991, there was Indra Lesmana as well as one of the personnel.
Gilang Ramadhan also shared an old photo of Donny Suhendra. At that time, Donny was performing with his guitar during a concert by the band Krakatau.
Musician Dian HP mourns the passing of Donny Suhendra. He was grateful for Donny’s contribution to Indonesian music.
“Kang Donny, goodbye kang. Respect and salute for the perseverance and contribution of kang Donny to Indonesian music. Very sad,” wrote Dian.
Indra Lesmana also misses Donny Suhendra very much. He will always remember his bandmates.
“We just lost the most soulful guitarist Indonesia has ever had, my friend Donny Suhendra,” said Indra.
