A man from New Jersey, United States, spent Rp. 74 million to buy a sex doll after his wife was diagnosed with cancer in 2015. Tony Foxx in his 50s named his sex doll Tasha Marie, after his wife Marie’s real name.
Tasha Marie has her own social media accounts. Tony tried to treat Marie as a human being through social media and this turned out to be liked by some netizens.
“He acts life like a real woman and is friendly to his fans who are mostly women,” Tony claimed as quoted from New York PostSaturday (18/6/2022).
Marie herself is said to have no objection to her husband’s activities. In fact, according to Tony, Marie, who is currently battling complications, sometimes comes up with photo ideas for the doll’s social media.
The phenomenon of sex dolls becoming ‘influencers’ on social media is now starting to become a trend. Apart from Marie, there are also several social media accounts that feature sex dolls like living humans.
Some netizens consider this an art form when dolls can be made as closely as possible to the real thing.
