Alpine launches a limited edition race car-inspired from the 1970s

Black-yellow returns to the factory of the French sports car company Alpine. The company has introduced a limited edition of its two-seater A110 sports car, the Tour de Corse 75, which clearly refers to the legendary A110 race car number 7.

Today, the racing special from the Renault Alpine workshops fought legendary fights, especially with the famous Lancia Stratos HF. In 1975, Lancia defeated him at the Corsican Rally Tour de Corse by 32 seconds, which did not prevent the current Alpine leadership from drawing attention to the famous duel with a limited edition of 150 pieces produced.

The novelty is mainly characterized by black-yellow varnish, which complements the white decor and inscriptions referring to the limited edition. The Alpine A110 also received white 18-inch wheels, Sabelt Racing shell seats, as well as a standard multimedia system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The edition does not differ mechanically, the middle-supercharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder has an output of 221 kW, 300 hp, and a torque of 340 Nm as in the existing GT and S variants. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.2 seconds.

Alpine said that limited edition orders with an attractive appearance will begin on June 17. The availability of the model is not very clear. We only know that the car will start on the price tag of approximately 78,300 euros, ie about 1.9 million crowns.
