Man pushes another onto 7 train tracks at Grand Central amid fight and flees station

The New York Police Department (NYPD) is looking for the suspected of pushing another onto train tracks at Grand Central Station yesterday afternoon.

The emergency began when the Suspect got into a fight with 51-year-old victim on the platform of the NY Subway Line 7 shortly after 4 p.m. The attack was reported at the 42nd Street Terminal and Grand Central.

The NBC 4 report indicates that, in the middle of the brawl, the suspect pushed the man onto the train tracks.

The attacker fled the scene after throwing the other into the lane.

The victim suffered a cut on the head. Fortunately, the injured man was able to climb back onto the platform and was treated by medical personnel on scene.

The victim does not know the perpetrator. It’s unclear what sparked the fight.

The assailant was described as dark-skinned. He was wearing a neon yellow shirt, “beige” pants and black glasses at the time of the events.
