“The Russians are moving forward inch by inch and it is vital for us to show that we know the truth, which is that Ukraine can and will win,” British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said.
Some of the prime minister’s Conservative Party members were unhappy that Johnson was visiting Kyiv for a second time instead of attending a conference in the north of England, but the latter noted that Britain would continue to demonstrate its strategic resilience to Ukraine.
“When Ukraine fatigue sets in, it’s important to show that we’re with them for the long haul and that we’re giving them the strategic resilience they need,” Johnson added.
