With another display from Stephen Curry (photo), the Golden State Warriors beat the Boston Celtics 103-90 and are the new NBA champions by a 4-2 aggregate, winning their fourth ring since 2015.
Curry, with 34 points and 6 triples, led the victory at the TD Garden in Boston along with his partners Klay Thompson (12) and Draymond Green (12), the fundamental trio of the resurrected Warriors dynasty, who won the seventh title of the franchise in its history.
For Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala, it is their fourth championship. The first three came in 2015, 2017 and 2018, when Golden State established a reign and reached the Finals five times.
The Celtics, who had no margin for error, started the game strongly but then went on a 21-0 run, never seen in the last half century of the Finals, and had to admit a defeat that left them without their coveted 18th ring ( they accumulate 14 years without titles and remain the most winning franchise in the NBA (17) together with the Los Angeles Lakers).
