Name Chairul Tanjung (CT) may be familiar to the people of Indonesia. The man who has the nickname The Cassava Son, is an important figure behind the CT Corp business empire.
In notes Forbes, CT is listed as the 6th richest person with a net worth of US$ 5.5 billion or Rp. 81.4 trillion. However, his current success did not come instantly. CT has also done small business during his college days.
Chairul Tanjung was born in Jakarta, June 18, 1962. He studied at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Indonesia (UI).
CT married Anita Ratnasari Tanjung, the marriage produced two children, namely Putri Indahsari Tanjung and Rahmat Dwiputra Tanjung.
Although graduated from dentistry, CT became a successful entrepreneur. Now at the age of 60, he is still growing his business. Under the banner of CT Corp, CT’s business is engaged in the media, financial services, trade, and entertainment sectors.

The age of 60 means I am grateful to Allah SWT, the Almighty God for his blessings and gifts to me.
Passing many paths with tests, trials, but also being given the ease and abundance of grace that has brought me to where I am now.
From a young age I was taught that the best human beings are those who are useful to other humans. Until now, I still hold tightly to this good advice.
Therefore, on my 60th birthday this year, as a form of gratitude, I want to share it with as many people as possible. The Cassava Children’s book, which was published 10 years ago, contains many experiences and struggles of life, will be distributed free of charge in digital form (pdf) which can be downloaded (download) on this page.
Not only that, I also gave the opportunity to selected 60 people to have an exclusive dinner experience and have a direct dialogue with me on July 28, 2022. Those who are selected will get souvenirs and experience exploring businesses in the CT Corp environment.
