US Considers Himself God’s Messenger on Earth

ST PETERSBURG – President of Russia Vladimir Putin accuse United States of America (USA) had toyed with God by pretending to be the ruler of the Earth. He also denounced Western sanctions which he called “stupid” an economic “blitzkrieg”.

Russia’s number one remarks came in a fiery speech at an economic forum in his hometown of St Petersburg on Friday.

The Russian president warned that the world order would not return to the way it was before the Ukrainian war broke out. He emphasized the strength and resilience of his country.

“We are strong people and can overcome any challenge. Like our ancestors, we will solve any problem, the whole thousand-year history of our country talks about this,” Putin said.

The 69-year-old leader said, “The United States considers itself God’s messenger on Earth”, and that Russia is taking its place in a new world order whose rules will be set by powerful and sovereign states.

“If they’re amazing, then that means everyone is second class,” he said of the US. “They live in the past alone under their own delusions,” he said, as quoted by Reuters, Saturday (18/6/2022).

Putin received a standing ovation when he vowed to continue “special military operations” in Ukraine, insisting that the decision to invade Ukraine was “forced – difficult, of course, but forced and necessary”.

He called its military campaign in Ukraine an act of Russia as a sovereign state that has the right to defend its security, and accused the West of active military seizures of Ukrainian territory.
