Svolvær alpine rescue group has been sent out together with a Sea King helicopter after a fall accident on Svolværgeita, says rescue leader Håkon Kjøllmoen at HRS Nord.
There was one in the tour group who announced. There is a lack of information about how large the tour is or how serious the accident is, according to Kjøllmoen.
– But it is a good relationship for the rescue crews to work in, so this is probably going well, he says to TV 2.
The person was transported to the hospital in Bodø five minutes after midnight. The extent of the damage is unknown, but the injured person was proven, says rescue leader in HRS Nord Finn Tore Sortland.
